Duties include hiring, training and management of nurse practitioners. Report directly to the State Practice Manager to enhances communication within the team. Ensures quality and compliance of clinics and staff are in accordance to state and federal regulations. Maintenance of payroll, staffing and budget for district within accordance to company goals. Expert in clinical areas, while serving as a mentor and leader of providers within the district.

Duties included conducting detailed history and physical examinations in member residence or physician offices especially those on Medicare. Communication of pertinent patient related issues to the medical team to include primary care providers, insurance carriers and social services.

Serve as a nurse practitioner on a thoracic surgery progressive care unit. Part of a multidisciplinary care team in the management of post-operative patients after thoracic procedures. Duties include admission history and physical exams, planning, diagnosis and intervention of patients with thoracic emergencies, which includes pneumothorax, pneumonia, atelectasis, esophageal disorders, pulmonary mass/nodules etc.
